I study Literary Studies as a graduate student at the University of Indonesia with a specialization in cultural studies.
I like learning about open source intelligence (OSINT) and researching the multitude of ways that climate change and renewable energy are being portrayed in Indonesian media. Right now, I’m working as a Research Assistant in Research + Action where my work consists of analyzing public discourse on climate misinformation and disinformation tactics.
I finished my undergraduate degree in International Relations in 2025. My undergraduate thesis talks about how sectarianization in the Palestinian National Authority obstructed Palestinian self-determination during the Oslo Peace Process. It was not particuarly splendid work.
Up to the third year of my undergraduate studies, I was deeply involved in the Indonesian Model United Nations (MUN) community. My MUN experiences in delegating and chairing have allowed me to pursue a quasi-polymathic mode of learning regarding international topics such as non-traditional security, environmental conflict, and regional conflict spillovers.
I also write essays, reflections, poetry, and short stories when I feel compelled. I am passionate in creative writing, especially when it comes to political fiction and free verse poetry. Furthermore, I love writing op-eds and essays with a special interest in anti-intellectualism as a cultural phenomenon and literary theme. I recently published a collection of free-verse English poems titled Pipeline Era through a local publisher.
